Student Competitions at the Pierre Lassonde Entrepreneur Center

Blurb here about the fact that the center offers many locally and nationally recognized competitions to its students. The competitions within the Pierre Lassonde Entrepreneur Center include:

Technology Titans
Tech Titans seeks to provide recognition and support to college and university students in the State of Utah who want to impact the world with new science, technologies, or products that can be potentially commercialized in the future. Technology Titans is not a business plan competition.  The designs, ideas and technologies in Tech Titans are earlier-stage innovations that will likely require additional research, development, or refinement prior to being marketed.

Opportunity Quest
OQ is a business plan innovation competition open to teams led by University of Utah Students from any discipline. Every year Opportunity Quest awards $10,000 in cash prizes to help student teams turn their interests and ideas into profitable businesses. In addition, students have the opportunity to attend forums on business plan writing and presentation skills and to work one-on-one with mentors from the professional community.

The Utah Entrepreneur Challenge
Blood, sweat, and tears fuel the passion to succeed. It’s this drive that comes in handy in the challenge. The Utah Entrepreneur Challenge is the premier opportunity for university students to make their dreams come to fruition. Student teams are given seven-months to engineer an award-winning business plan to be submitted along with other teams from the mountain west. Created in 1999 by a group of ambitious students at the University of Utah, the Challenge offers one of the largest cash prizes for any collegiate level business plan competition in the United States. This competition is open to any college or university students in the State of Utah.
